If you are working as a freelance programmer or a web designer and are looking for jobs, here are few tips for you, which I learnt the hard way, so do not make the same mistakes which I had made initially.

Stick to only few good websites like getafreelancer.com

To establish a good reputation as a freelance programmer/web designer, start quoting half the price than that of what already established freelancers are quoting

Try to estimate the work in such a way that you have 20% buffer time, so that in case you are about to slip on the deadline , you can make it up most of the time

Set the expectation right, if possible deliver a small prototype of the project that you are working
Understand that the buyer may not very be proficient in english , so keep the coomunication between you and the buyer simple

Even if buyer is acting stupid , handle him professionaly, never try to be harsh on the buyer

I just had a bitter experience in buying one of the high traffic domain cheapseoservices.com parked at sedo
I checked at sedo it is receiving 10000 uniques per month, the moment it was transfered to my account, I redirected to my web site and started tracking how many visitors it is getting per day, any guess ?

I am getting maximum 1 visitors per day!! (from 300 uniques per day to 1 visitor per day, is this not a miracle ? Lost few hundred bucks , does not look like the domain can recover even a dollar in next two years
So buy only developed domain, never pay more than $25 for buying a parked domain even though someone claims it is getting thousands of hits, who knows where from the domain owner is generating traffic.

Computer Scientist and IT Specialist Positions
Software developers on our staff perform a wide variety of tasks,
mainly developing applications for our image processing and
cartography software package, Integrated Software for Imagers and
